Whats for Brekky Tomorrow?

We have a little Sunday Morning Tradition in our Household and that is Bacon and Eggs for Brekky and I have to say I'm getting a little bored with it. So here's a recipe I found for French Toast that just looks delish.

So this Sunday morning its see you later bacon and eggs and hello French Toast and Yummy Berries. :)   Bec x

French Toast

serves 4 preparation time 5 minutes  cooking time 5 minutes.

What you'll Need:
2 eggs
1/2 cup cream or milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 thick slices bread
15g butter
icing sugar to dust
mixed berries, maple syrup, to serve
Place eggs, cream or milk, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Whisk until combined.

Soak Bread in the egg mixture for a good few seconds each side until completely coated.

Heat butter in a frying pan on medium. The butter will start to become foamy, place the soaked bread slices in the frying pan. Cook for approx. 2-3 minutes on each side until golden. Place on plate, dust with icing sugar, top with berries and drizzle with maple syrup.

Tip
For a more savoury style meal. Swap the icing sugar and berries and serve with crispy bacon, tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms.
