Quick Simple Fondant

If you have ever wanted to try Fondant then this recipe is perfect. The best thing is it tastes delish!! and it is cheap and simple to make. 

 What You'll Need

1 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp. butter or shortening
1 tbsp. milk or water

Method

Mix all ingredients together until very firm, then use a rolling pin, and roll the fondant out on wax paper, then put on cake when done.


Bec Tips

Add a few drops of Food Colouring/Natural Colouring.  You may need to add some extra icing sugar.
Just add more icing sugar to get it to a workable dough like consistency.
Use cookie cutters, I stole some of the kids playdough cutters (hehe) to make different shapes and letters.
